Corona Free Florida – Beach Status Update

Updated Beach Closure List HERE.

The BIG question we hear again and again , “Are the beaches open in Florida?” The precise answer is Yes…and…NO! Some beaches are closed, some are open, some closed to traffic others barricaded. Here’s what we have so far (sorted by region) :

East Coast Florida Beaches

Northern
Duval County – Beaches closed beginning 3/20 TFN
Flagler County – Flagler Beach Closed as of 3/22
Nassau County – Fernandina Beach Closed as of 3/22
St. Johns County – Ponte Vedra Beach public beach parking closed as of 3/23 TFN
Central
Brevard County – Cocoa Beach Beachside parking closed – Beaches remain open
Volusia County – All vehicle access ramps are closed through 3/26. County off-beach parking remains open
Southeast
Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties – All Broward and Miami-Dade beaches closed by order of Governor Ron DeSantis
Monroe County – (Florida Keys) – Lodging is closed to all visitors tfn




West Coast Florida Beaches

Central
Hillsborough County – Closed as of 3/19 TFN
Pinellas County – Closed as of 3/21 until 4/6
Southwest
Collier County – All beaches closed as of 3/19 TFN
Lee County – Public beaches are closed for 30 days beginning 3/20




Panhandle Beaches
Bay County – (Panama City Beaches) – Closed beginning 3/20 through 3/26
Okaloosa and Walton Counties – Closed as of 3/20 through April 30
